“One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness.”
Psalm 145:4-7

Our Vision for Family Ministry:
Generations of Godliness

Our goal from nursery through youth is to lay a strong biblical foundation in order to provide a biblical framework for children to enable them to read and apply the whole counsel of God’s Word. Our prayer is that we may be able to rejoice, like David, that this generation of children and young adults shall commend God’s works to another, and shall declare his mighty acts.

Family Ministry Philosophy

We believe Scripture teaches that parents have the primary responsibility to reach their children with the gospel (Ecclesiastes 12:1; Ephesians 6:1-4), and to teach them the truths of God so that “they should put their confidence in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments,” (Psalm 78:5-8; Proverbs 22:6; Deuteronomy 4:9, 6:7). We also believe strongly that the church should help in this endeavor by equipping and assisting parents when needed (Ephesians 4:11-13). Our primary goal is to come alongside parents in ministering to their children for the purpose of creating a hunger to know and follow Jesus Christ as His disciple (Psalm 27:4, 8; 42:1-2, 63:1-8).
